We were contacted by one of our previous clients, Lee Sibs, on Thursday 2nd July 2020, looking to help his mum Helen out. He explained to us that a family friend who knew about websites had helped her make a simple website, however it did not load correctly and didn’t sell her business correctly. Needing to get a website that worked, live, he asked how quickly and cost effective we could turn it around.
Already with a few projects on our plate it would be tough, but we at Blades Media never turn down a challenge. Chips in, lets do this!
On Sunday 5th July 2020, late evening, Lee sent across the content required. Within 3 hours we were able to make a first draft of the new site. With a loose style we worked with Lee to produce a fit and finish which he felt represented his mum’s business correctly. On Monday the 6th it was presented to Helen for her opinion and feedback. With a few snagging list items, we quickly made the changes required.

We suggested this would be more detrimental than a benefit. With this now in talks we waited for the response. After deciding to switch to a simpler domain on Wednesday the 8th July 2020, we took Helen’s new website live at 15:04pm. From concept to creation we were able to put Helen online in just 6 days. After the launch we ran it through SEMrush's site audit and scored 96%. With the main issue being more text required (which Lee will be doing shortly) this website is already off to a strong start!
