Churchill Foundation
Case Study

Previously the Christchurch car show was run by car enthusiasts and backed by the Churchill foundation. It did a great job at bringing cars and people together, but it required more event planning. For 2018 the Churchill foundation decided to invest more time into the show, planning and promoting it properly to help raise local awareness for the event and their cause, walking with the wounded.
Thanks to our previous experience, we were called in to help assist. Initially working with the team to provide photo and video support for the event, we ended up assisting them with other aspects of the show including stock imagery, design work and social media management.
Video Production
During the show our head camera man, Peter, filmed the even using a single camera and gimbal setup. Not only did this keep the budget low, the rig light but it meant he was able to move freely between the crowds capturing a personal feel which explored the emotions of the attendees.
Professional
Photography
We provided photographic coverage for three events including the main show, charity dinner and charity golf tournament. Michelle and Damian covered ground using multiple Nikon cameras. For the charity dinner a mini studio was setup to capture guests in front of the charity board. The was created using portable light stands.
Social
Media
On the lead up to the event with quite a lot already on their plates, the foundation requested we took over their Instagram account. On the build up to the event, we created a large amount of brand awareness which was positive among their younger audience members who heavily shared the event on the day and the following weeks after.
We had previously worked with Blades Media for an event earlier in the year, and so we welcomed the opportunity to work with them again. Our charity Golf Tournament was a great success and Damian captured the day at Remedy Oak brilliantly, including our Golf tournament and Live auction. Thank you again!
